Our Role

Our Eco Council members work hard around the school to help us become as environmentally friendly as possible. Some of the things our Eco Council do are:

• Remind us to put litter in the bin
• Ensure we are using the correct bins
• Recycle as much as we can
• Turn off taps if not in use
• Turn off the lights if not in use

Eco Schools is an international programme which rewards schools for working hard on environment topics to make the world a better place.

It encourages teamwork and helps to create a shared understanding of what it takes to run a school in a way that respects and enhances the environment.

Eco News!

In July 2023, we received the 'Green Flag Eco-School Award' for the third time.  We are now working towards our first Platinum Eco-School Award.
