Late/Absence Procedures
The school doors open at 8:55 a.m and close at 9:00a.m.
If pupils arrive after 9:00a.m then please come to the main reception door.
All gates will be locked at 9.10am. If you arrive after this time, please ring the bell for assistance and a member of staff will come to greet you. You will need to sign your child in at reception.
Any child arriving between 9.05 - 9.30am will receive an 'L' registration mark.
Any child arriving after 9.30am will receive a 'U' registration mark.
These may affect your child's overall attendance grades (percentages).
If your child is unwell and unable to attend school then please inform the school by telephone 01554 750329 or email admin@bynea.ysgolccc.cymru
If your child is not registered in school by 9.30am, a text will be sent to you to notify of their absence and the need for you to report their absence. We will make every attempt to get hold of you.
If your child does not attend school for 10 consecutive days and we do not hear from you or are unable to get in touch with you, the School Safeguarding & Attendance Team (SSAT) will be notified and a welfare check will be conducted by them.
