It is my pleasure to welcome you to our school website. At Ysgol Y Bynea, we are proud to serve our community by providing a nurturing, inclusive and ambitious learning environment where every child is valued, supported and inspired to thrive.

Our vision is rooted in the principles of the Curriculum for Wales, placing pupils at the heart of their learning journey. We aim to develop confident, capable learners who are curious, creative and ready to contribute positively to their world. Through rich learning experiences  - both inside and outside the classroom - we encourage our children to explore, express and grow.

Our school values - happiness, safety, respect, ambition, health and resilience - are woven into everything we do. They guide our relationships, shape our curriculum, and ensure that every child feels secure, motivated and empowered to succeed. We believe that when children feel happy and safe, they flourish socially, emotionally and academically.
