Eco Council

Our School Eco-code!

Meet our Eco Council!

 

 

Our Eco Council members are:

Year 1 - Matilda & Spencer

Year 2 - Jacob & Olivia

Year 3 - Marnie, Aaron and Bonnie-Rose

Year 4 - Baylie & Adam

Year 5 - Ava & Theo

Year 6 - Osian & Mia

Our Role

Our Eco Council members work hard around the school to help us become as environmentally friendly as possible. Some of the things our Eco Council do are:

  • Remind us to put litter in the bin
  • Ensure we are using the correct bins
  • Recycle as much as we can
  • Turn off taps if not in use
  • Turn off the lights if not in use

 

Eco Schools is an international programme which rewards schools for working hard on environment topics to make the world a better place.

 

It encourages teamwork and helps to create a shared understanding of what it takes to run a school in a way that respects and enhances the environment.

 

Our Targets for 2023-2024

Eco News!

In July 2023, we received the 'Green Flag Eco-School Award' for the third time.  We are now working towards our first Platinum Eco-School Award.
